The capital of the El Comtat region offers a step-by-step description of the most significant periods in its weighty history, ranging from the magnificent Gothic palace visible from the webcam de Concentaina and the baroque Asunción church to the Arab district of Raval. Popular architecture combines with Mudejar art, Valencian ceramics and the coats of arms of the nobility perched on the fronts of houses, without forgetting the fortified tower at whose feet lies Cocentaina, with the profile of Sierra Mariola in the distance, natural emblem of the Costa Blanca.
